Dr. Errik Hood joins the faculty at NYU Steinhardt as Music Assistant Professor of Voice Performance, where he works with undergraduate and graduate students in Music Theater, Classical, and Contemporary Commercial vocal styles.
Hawaii Performing Arts Festival - Summer 2019
Errik served as a Directing Fellow at the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. There, Errik provided Stage Direction, taught emerging singers, and performed all over the big island of Hawaii.
North American British Music Studies Association - August 2018
Errik recently presented a lecture recital on his research into the performance and teaching of the art songs of Ivor Gurney at the North American British Music Studies Association.
Carnegie Hall Debut - February 2019
Errik made his Carnegie Hall Debut in February, providing the solos for Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem.

International Debut, United Kingdom - Summer 2018
The Summer of 2018 saw Errik’s International Concert Debut as he performed solos in Ralph Vaughan William’s Dona Nobis Pacem and Sancta Civitas at Ely Cathedral in the United Kingdom.
Utah Festival Opera - Summer 2017
Errik joined Utah Festival Opera as a Principal Artist, singing the roles of Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Cardinal Wolsey in Rex, and Mayor Shinn in The Music Man.
